
Renegades Add Flanagan to Training Camp Roster

ROME, Ga. - The Rome Renegades have continued to prepare for the 2006 season by inviting QB Jacob Flanagan to pre-season training camp. Flanagan, 5-10, 193 pounds, comes from the University of North Alabama were he was a versatile player for the Lions. While at North Alabama, Jacob saw action as a quarterback, kick returner, punt returner, defensive back and wide receiver. Jacob also attended Gadsden State where he was a member of the baseball team. Jacob is from Gadsden where he attended Gaston High School.
The Renegades will be holding a combine this Saturday, January 28th, in Chattanooga, TN. The combine will be held at East Ridge High School. The tryout fee is $45 if you pay before 5pm on Friday, January 27th, the tryout fee will be $55 if you pay on Saturday. Registration will start at 10am with the testing starting at 11am. Participants will be tested on 40-yard sprint, 20 yard shuttle run, a standing long jump, as well as various position specific drills.
