OKC Energy FC News Release
Reno, NV - Energy FC faces San Antonio FC in the Western Conference Semifinals of the 2017 USL Playoffs. The match will be played Saturday, October 28 at 7:30 p.m. (ct).
Energy FC advanced by downing Reno 1868 FC 1-0 in the Quarterfinal matchup. That marks the third straight season Energy FC has won at least one match during the postseason. During the 2015 season, The Greens advanced to the Western Conference Finals.
Energy FC met San Antonio FC three times during the regular season, with each match ending in a draw. Two of the matches were 0-0 draws, with the other a 1-1 draw. San Antonio FC finished the season with a 17-4-11 record, 62 points and the #2 seed in the Western Conference. Energy FC finished the season with a 14-11-7 record, 49 points and the #6 seed in the Western Conference. The win total for the season is a franchise record for Energy FC.
The match is scheduled to be shown locally on News9 Plus and online on the USL's YouTube channel. The Greens are sharing a watch party location with Skinny Slims in Bricktown. Wear your Green and bring your Energy!
