Reitz Added To Roster

River City Rascals News Release


O'Fallon, MO - The River City Rascals, presented by Progress West Health Care Center added former St. Louis Cardinal Ken Reitz to the roster for the May 9 St. Louis Cardinals alumni versus the St. Louis Blues alumni celebrity softball game. The event is to directly benefit the Charli Anna Foundation.

The exhibition to be played at T.R. Hughes Ballpark in O'Fallon, MO will feature Reitz along with former Cardinal greats Jack Clark and Al Hrabosky. Announced on the Blues side thus far are Jim Campbell, Jamie Rivers, Kelly Chase, and Bruce Affleck. Game time is slated for 6:05 pm with gates opening at 4:35 pm. An autograph session will take place between 5:05 pm and game time. More legends are to be announced leading up to the event.

Fans can now order tickets online at www.rivercityrascals.com or by calling (636) 240-2287 for only $10.00 per ticket. Tickets will be $15.00 if purchased on the day of the event. All gate proceeds will go to the Charli Anna Foundation.

Another great way to contribute to the event is by sponsoring the "softball" wall signs or getting involved in the action with a "homerun" sponsorship. Multiple packages range from an affordable $100 to $500 to include your company in this memorable event with all sponsorship proceeds going to the Charli Anna Foundation.

The Charli Anna foundation was formed due to the infant death of Charli Anna Merseal. While in the hospital for 5 ½ months, her parents; Jason and Heather found the difficulties of living far away and trying to keep a semblance of family life with their two other daughters. The Charli Anna Foundation along with the Al Hrabosky foundation teamed up to offer housing for families from far distances in the Clayton area. It will benefit families attending Children's Hospital, Cardinal Glennon and other local hospitals.
