
Reign and Gulls Collide on Pink in the Rink Tonight

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), host the San Diego Gulls tonight at 7:00 on the second annual Pink in the Rink presented by San Antonio Regional Hospital at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Tonight is the sixth of 12 regular-season meetings between the two teams.
Pink in the Rink:

Reign forward Jonny Brodzinski leads the head-to-head series against the Gulls with six points (two goals, four assists) and has seven goals in his last five games.
SoCal Series:
The Reign are 4-1-0-0 against the Gulls this season and hold an 8-7-1-1 all-time record. The two teams last met on January 22 with the Reign prevailing 3-2 in a shootout.
Familiar Faces:
Starting tonight, the Reign will face the Gulls in three of the next four games.
Gulls Lighting It Up:
Entering tonight's contest, the Gulls are riding a nine-game point streak (8-0-0-1). The only setback came against the Reign on January 22. During the nine-game stretch, the Gulls outscored opponents 34-14 and are coming off a three-game sweep of the Tucson Roadrunners. Forward Chris Wagner leads the Gulls against the Reign with four points (two goals, two assists) and has three goals in his last two games.
Mic Drop Tropp:
Gulls forward Corey Tropp has 11 points (six goals, five assists) in his last eight games. In addition, forward Kalle Kossila has points in 10 of his last 11 contests (four goals, 10 assists).
Goaltending Duel:
Reign netminder Jack Campbell has started the last 24 straight contests going 17-4-3. Gulls goalie Jhonas Enroth was recently named the AHL Goaltender of the Month for January after going 6-0-0 with a 1.17 goals-against average and a .957 save percentage. Enroth allowed seven goals against on 163 shots.
Purcell Effect:
Reign forward Teddy Purcell is riding a three-game point streak (two goals, four assists) and looks to appear in his 699th professional contest tonight. Through 698 games, Purcell has 149 goals and 301 assists for 450 points.
