ODESSA, TX. : The Odessa Roughnecks are pleased at the way pre-season went. There has been over 80% capacity crowds at both the Big Spring and Odessa games and victories in each game against a formidable opponent. This weekend starts the regular season schedule as we see the Roughnecks travel to Lake Charles, LA. to take on the Swashbucklers. This will be the Swashbucklers 1st game of the year. Last year Louisiana was a gnat in the Roughnecks face. They handed the Roughnecks their 1st regular season loss in 27 games, and came close to beating them in the play-offs. This will be the projected key match-up of the year.
