MIDLAND, TX. : As a reminder, registration for the Roughnecks Youth Football League (R.Y.F.L.) is scheduled for this Saturday, August 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from the Ector County Coliseum. The overall fee for participating is $175 which does include a game jersey, game pants & game socks. The R.Y.F.L. will also offer all equipment at wholesale price which includes Riddell helmets, practice jerseys, pants, pant pads & shoulder pads.
The Roughnecks Youth Football League will hold all games on Saturdays from Bonham Junior High School located at 2201 East 21st Street in Odessa. Practices will begin on Tuesday, September 2 and the first set of games (exhibition) will be on Saturday, September 18. The regular season will run from September 25 to October 30 with playoff games scheduled for November 16 and the championship week set for November 20. The Roughnecks Youth Football League will make further announcements if there is a change in location for scheduled games.
As an additionally reminder, those that are interested in becoming an R.Y.F.L. Coach or Referee must fill out applications which are available at the West Texas Roughnecks Front Office located at 10716 Highway 191, Suite #6 in Midland. Coach & Referee applications will also be available at registration on Saturday. The Roughnecks Youth Football League will hold a Coach / Referee Clinic scheduled for Monday, August 30 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. from the Ector County Coliseum.
