Register To Win Game-Worn Green Jerseys Friday

Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs, proud members of the American Hockey League, are hosting a game-worn jersey raffle during Friday's game when they take on Chris Chelios and the Chicago Wolves. It is Chelios' first time on the ice at the Rockford MetroCentre. Game time is 7:05 p.m.

For the first time the IceHogs will wear green jerseys presented by No Idle Zone. The first 2,000 fans through the doors will receive a green IceHogs t-shirt. The game marks the second of four "Go Green" nights this season. The event is also sponsored by Bergstrom Industries, Community Foundation of Northern Illinois, Magnum Creative, and The Morrissey Family Business.

Fans can buy a raffle ticket for $5 or five tickets for $20 during the game for a chance to win a green jersey worn that night by a Hog. Tickets will be sold at the No Idle Zone table in the upper concourse and will be available up until the end of the second intermission. Winners will be announced during the third period.

Next Home Game: Wednesday, Nov. 18 vs. Texas Stars. The puck is set to drop at 7:05 p.m. It's a Golden Goal Wednesday, so if the IceHogs score a goal with 9:10 left on the clock in the third period, one lucky fan will win $10,000. It is also WXRX Student Rush night, and all high school and college students with a valid student ID can purchase the best available seat for just $10 at the MetroCentre's box office up to one hour before the game.

FLINN BACK IN THE MIX IN ROCKFORD

Rockford, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced Tuesday that Left Wing Ryan Flinn has been signed to a Professional Try-Out Agreement by the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Flinn, 29, appeared in two games for the IceHogs earlier this season, racking up nine penalty minutes. He was with the team on a PTO before being released on October 13, 2009.

The Halifax, Nova Scotia native was selected #143 overall (round 5) of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. He skated in 52 games with the Hamilton Bulldogs in 2008-09, notching two goals, two assists and 122 penalty minutes. In 297 career AHL games, Flinn has collected 30 points (13g-17a) and 945 PIMs. Flinn has played in a total of 31 games in the National Hockey League, all with the Los Angeles Kings. He has notched one career goal and 84 penalty minutes.
