Montgomery Biscuits News Release
BILOXI, Miss. - The Tampa Bay Rays have announced that INF Leonardo Reginatto and RHRP Kyle Winkler have been transferred back to the Biscuits from AAA Durham. The Biscuits had two open roster spots, so there are no corresponding moves.
Reginatto, 25, hit .269 in 36 games with Durham in two stints in AAA. He has only played nine games with the Biscuits this season despite being on Montgomery's Opening Day roster. The Rays signed the utility infielder out of Brazil in 2009.
Winkler, 25, made six appearances (1-0, 1.17 ERA) with the Biscuits before being promoted to AAA. With the Bulls, the righty allowed one run through three innings. He was released by the Diamondbacks and signed by the Rays in May.
The Biscuits active roster is now at the league max of 25.
