Tuesday's contest is the final chapter in what has been a long road to get here. After months of uncertainty, the puck finally dropped on the Pats 2020-21 season March 12. Since then, Regina has gone 9-11-2-1 and can claim fourth place in the East Division standings with a win tonight.

The Pats are coming off a 5-1 loss to the division champion Brandon Wheat Kings on Sunday night, while the ICE have won four in a row.

Winnipeg has been a tough matchup for Regina this season, as the ICE have won the previous three meetings, outscoring the Hub hosts a combined 16-6.

Las Vegas Golden Knights draft pick Peyton Krebs leads the ICE into their season finale, as the 20-year-old leads the WHL in scoring with 42 points. He's part of a Winnipeg attack that features three of the WHL's top 10 scorers along with Connor McClennon (33 pts.) and Owen Pederson (30 pts.).

On the Pats side of the equation, Ryker Evans enters the night looking to finish the season on a high. The Calgary product had his 12-game point streak snapped last time out and enters the night two points back of Medicine Hat's Cole Clayton (28 pts.) for the WHL's defencemen scoring lead.
