RedHawks Release 2004 Schedule

Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks News Release
FARGO, N.D. â The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have released their 2004 schedule which is highlighted by an extended season, Business Day Specials and a new divisional alignment. The Northern League expanded the schedule to 96 games for 2004, giving Fargo-Moorhead 48 home games this summer. Standard game times are 7:05 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 2:05 p.m. on Sundays. Gates will open one hour prior to start time.
The RedHawks will open defense of the 2003 Northern League Championship on the road with an 11-game road trip. Opening Day is May 20 against the Schaumburg Flyers at Alexian Field in Schaumburg, Ill. The âHawks will also face the Joliet JackHammers and the St. Paul Saints before coming home.
Fargo-Moorhead's Home Opener will be Wednesday, June 2 at 7:05 p.m. against the Gary SouthShore RailCats. The RedHawks will be raising the 2003 Northern League Championship Flag in right field for the first time that night.
The RedHawks will host seven weekend series and three of the always popular Business Day Specials. The special 12:35 p.m. games will be held on Wednesday, June 16 vs. St. Paul Saints, Friday, July 2 vs. Winnipeg Goldeyes and Thursday, July 29 vs. Lincoln Saltdogs. The RedHawks will also be home for the Fourth of July. With the holiday falling on a Sunday, the âHawks will play at their standard 2:05 p.m. start.
Fargo-Moorhead will play in the North Division in 2004 along with the St. Paul Saints, Sioux City Explorers, Sioux Falls Canaries and Winnipeg Goldeyes. The South Division will consist of the Gary SouthShore RailCats, Joliet JackHammers, Kansas City T-Bones, Lincoln Saltdogs and Schaumburg Flyers.
