Red Wings Release 2010 Spring Training Schedule

Rochester Red Wings News Release


The Rochester Red Wings today announced a 16-game Spring Training schedule leading up to their 2010 regular season opener vs. the Pawtucket Red Sox on Thursday, April 8 at 7:05 p.m. at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket. Rochester will begin the season with a nine- game road trip to Pawtucket, Scranton and Lehigh Valley. It's the longest road trip to start a season since 1973 when Rochester opened the 1973 season with a 10-game road trip to Charleston, Tidewater and Peninsula.

The Red Wings spring training schedule begins March 18 and runs through April 3. The Red Wings will break camp in Ft. Myers and head to Rochester on April 6th. Spring training home games will be played at Ft. Myers Lee County Sports Complex with all games starting at 1:00 p.m.

Twins Minor League players will report to camp in Ft. Myers, FL Thursday, March 11. The first full squad workout is scheduled for Saturday, March 13.

The Red Wings will open their home schedule Saturday, April 17 with a 4:05 p.m. game vs. Pawtucket at Frontier Field. Opening Day at Frontier Field is just 79 days away.

The Frontier Field box office will open for the 2010 season on Saturday, April 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The box office will remain open Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
