GAME NOTES:

- TURNING POINT: After leaving the bases loaded in three of the first five innings, the Paw Sox broke through with a 6-run 6th inning off the Red Wings bullpen. DH David Ortiz had a big two-run single and 3B Drew Sutton capped the scoring with a two-run double... KEY MOMENT: With the game tied 1-1 and runners on first and second in the top of the 6th inning Oscar Villarreal induced LF Chris Colabello, the reigning IL Player of the Week, to ground into a 4-6-3 inning-ending double play. The Paw Sox went on to put their first five runners on base in the bottom of the inning.

- The Wings' bullpen scoreless innings streak was snapped at 9.2 innings on Saturday allowing their first run since a 7th inning Melky Mesa home run on Monday night... LHP Caleb Thielbar had his team high 5.1 inning scoreless innings streak snapped on Drew Sut- ton's two-out, two-run double in the 6th inning.

- Chris Colabello plated the only run for the Red Wings in Game 1 with a RBI single in the first inning. With the hit, Colabello has now reached base in each of the first 8 games played this season... Colabello also played left field for the first time in affiliated ball in Game 1. He had only played first base and DH'ed in his first year-plus in the Twins organization.

- After five strong innings on Saturday in Game 1, RHP Terry Doyle is now 1-0 with a 0.73 ERA in two career starts against the Red Wings having allowed only three hits in 12.1 innings.

- DH David Ortiz went 1-for-4 with a two-run single in his second rehab game for the Paw Sox... He is now 3-for-7 with three RBI and two runs scored in two games against the Wings in this series.

- The Red Wings 4-game streak with an extra-base hit was snapped in Game 1 when they collected only four hits - all singles.
