BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Red Stars will try for a franchise-best third consecutive win Wednesday night when they make their only appearance of the regular season in Boston for a 6 pm (CT) game.

Chicago (4-6-5) currently sits in fifth place in the Women's Professional Soccer standings, one point behind a third-place tie that includes Boston (5-6-3). The Red Stars have not won on the road since the season opener, a 1-0 victory at Saint Louis on April 4th.

Red Stars forward Cristiane is coming off the first hat trick in WPS history, an impressive three-goal performance in Sunday's 3-1 win over FC Gold Pride. The Brazilian now leads Chicago with six goals on the season, all of them coming since June 3rd.

The two teams split a pair of meetings at TOYOTA PARK this season, with the Red Stars claiming a 4-0 victory April 25th and Boston avenging that with a 2-0 win June 21st. Chicago has outshot the Breakers by a 33-12 margin in the two games.

Wednesday's game is the first of a two-match road trip for the Red Stars, who will also play at Sky Blue FC in a nationally televised matchup Sunday.

The Red Stars will return home on Sunday, July 26th for a 3 pm game with Abby Wambach and the Washington Freedom at TOYOTA PARK. The Red Stars will go green for the game, wearing special green jerseys and celebrating environmentally friendly causes. The popular Chicago band Hello Dave will play a pregame concert in the Red Stars' Fun Zone, beginning at 2 pm.
