
Red Dogs Head Into Iowa This Friday

Black Hills Red Dogs News Release
The Black Hills Red Dogs will be heading into Iowa this Friday to take on the Sioux City Bandits Saturday June 4, 2005 at 7 PM. The Red Dogs are coming off a tough loss to the Sioux Falls Storm on May 28. The Sioux City Bandits are coming off a win against the Ohio Valley Greyhounds.
The Red Dogs scored on their first possession when QB Frank Borba threw a 23-yard pass to WR Mario "MO" Patton. Sioux Falls (SF) responded with a RB James Jones TD.
The 2nd Quarter started with a Red Dog Kicker Ton Ton Luzayadio 18-yard field goal. SF responded with two touchdowns. Ton Ton ended the 2nd Quarter the way he started it with a 20-yard field goal.
The 3rd Quarter had SF RB James Jones scoring from 1-yard out. Ton Ton launched a bomb for a field goal from 47-yards to respond to the touchdown. SF came right back and scored a touchdown.
The 4th Quarter was all SF, they scored three touchdowns in the quarter.
The Red Dogs Offensive player of the game was WR Mario "MO" Patton who had 9 receptions for 71-yards and 1 TD. The Defensive player of the game is DB Quinlan Porter who had 2 solo tackles and 4 assisted and 1 broken up pass. The special team had two outstanding return men RB Mike Scott and RB/WR Prince Morgan had 9 returns for 169-yards between them.
