Record Setting Crowd Not Enough to Help Tide, Fall to Silver Knights

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME- The Old Orchard Beach cannot keep their winning streak going as they fall to the Nashua Silver Knights 11-1 Wednesday afternoon in front of a record setting attendance.

Jason Vosler (West Nyack, NY/ Northeastern University) picked up the lone RBI for the Tide going 1-3 and has hit successfully in eight of the last ten games.

Dillon Ryan (Haverhill, MA/ UMass Lowell) was charged with the loss as he couldn't get out of the first inning giving up five earned runs with two walks.

For the Silver Knights, James Katsiroubas (Milton, MA/ UMass Lowell) highlighted the offense going 3-4 with a base on balls. The Knights combined for 16 hits in the contest. Lamarre Rey (Lynn, MA/ Bentley University) went 6 IP, giving up only three hits, with 6 SO for the win, lowering his ERA to 1.50.

The Raging Tide return to action Friday night at The Ballpark at 6pm against the Seacoact Mavericks.
