Bridgeport, CT (October 11, 2015) - The IceCaps outshot Bridgeport 34-to-29, but couldn't seem to find the back of the net in Sunday's game at the Webster Bank Arena.
Angelo Miceli's first pro goal was enough to tie the game at one goal apiece, but the Sound Tigers fought back hard in the third period to sneak 5 goals past Dustin Tokarski to claim the win. Charles Hudon had a great opportunity on a penalty shot, but grazed the crossbar.
The penalty box was rarely empty, with eight calls made against St. John's. The IceCaps remained flawless on the penalty kill, but the young team struggled to score against the veteran-packed Sound Tigers.
