St. John's IceCaps News Release

ST. JOHN'S, NL - Keegan Lowe potted the game-winner with just 15.6 seconds left on the clock as the St. John's IceCaps topped the Hershey Bears at Mile One Centre on Saturday afternoon.

Julien Brouillette scored his third of the season to kick off the scoring off a play from Nikita Scherbak. Tyler Lewington tied it up for the Bears about three minutes later, and his teammate Travis Boyd would add another tally shortly after to give Hershey the lead. Chris Bourque added another marker late in the first to lift the Bears lead to 3-1.

St. John's fired back in the second, scoring two tallies to tie it up. Jeremy Gregoire tapped in a loose puck off of a drive from Ryan Johnston and Stefan Matteau, followed by the equalizer from Yannick Veilleux (Max Friberg, Jacob de la Rose).

The third period went scoreless for both teams until IceCaps defenceman Lowe fired a rocket past Hershey netminder Pheonix Copleyy for the win. Copley stopped 25 shots in the loss, while St. John's netminder Charlie Lindgren stood tall for 26-of-19 shots.
