The Reading Fightin Phils were shutout at the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 11-0, on Saturday night.

The Fightins recorded just five hits, including two from Aldrem Corredor. It was the second night in a row they were shutout.

Binghamton scored early and often in the win, as they plated four in the first frame. Everyone in the starting nine reached base successfully. The team put up thirteen hits including three home runs, one each from Francisco Alvarez, Ronny Mauricio, and Matt Winaker.

Adam Leverett got the start allowing seven runs, six earned, on nine hits. He struck out four in four frames.

Mike Adams took two, letting up a two-run homer in the sixth.

Julian Garcia pitched two innings as well. The righty allowed two solo shots.

Reading will close out the first half of the season tomorrow against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies at 1:05pm at Mirabito Stadium.
