
RazorSharks Take A Bite Out of Strong Dogs Tonight

Rochester RazorSharks: The RazorSharks have won ten straight games and lost only once in their last fifteen outings. They continue to hold first place in the Connie Hawkins Division and are currently ranked #4 in the ABA's Power Rankings.
Who's Hot?:
Brian Edwards- Since being inserted into the starting lineup for injured, leading scorer James Reaves six games ago, Edwards has averaged 13.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
Troy Brown- Brown has been dominating on the boards in the last five games, averaging 9 rebounds per game over that stretch. He has finished in double digits in rebounding in four out of those five games.
Keith Friel- Friel has scored in double digits in the last ten games he has played. He also leads the team in three point field goals made (50), three point field goal percentage (44.2%) and free throw percentage (88.9%).
Rochester-Harlem Series: The Strong Dogs, who are currently ranked #12 in the ABA's Power Rankings, are one of only three teams to defeat the RazorSharks this season, beating Rochester 119-116 in Manhattan on December 18 in double overtime. The RazorSharks won the only other meeting between the teams 101-100 on New Year's Eve at the Blue Cross Arena.
ABA All-Star Game: The ABA All-Star Game will take place next weekend on February 11 at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida. Representing the Rochester RazorSharks will be Head Coach Rod Baker, who will be serving as an Assistant Coach and Forward, Chris Carrawell who will be playing for the East squad.
Game Promotions: Sunday is "Kid's Day," where all kids 12 and under can purchase a general admission ticket for $5.00 when accompanied by an adult who purchases a regularly priced general admission ticket. After the game, there will be a "Meet the Players" party at The Keg, located at 315 Gregory Street.
Radio: The game will be broadcast live on WHTK AM-1280 with Gene Battaglia and Roosevelt Bouie handling the calls.
Tickets: On sale at the Arena box office, via phone by calling 232-1900 or on the internet at www.ticketmaster.com. General Admission $8.00, Reserved Seating $15.00 and Court Side $25.00. There is a $1.50 arena surcharge on all tickets.
