
RazorSharks Release 2006-2007 Schedule

Rochester RazorSharks News Release
(Rochester, New York)...The defending American Basketball Association champion Rochester RazorSharks will raise the 2005-2006 championship banner before their first home game of the regular season on Thursday, November 16 at The Blue Cross Arena as they host the Buffalo Silverbacks at 7:05 p.m. The RazorSharks will tip-off an 18 game home schedule on that night as they begin their second season of play in the ABA.
The RazorSharks open the 2006-2007 season with two games on the road, including their first game of the season at the Brooklyn Wonders on Thursday, November 9 at 7:00 p.m.
Rochester's home schedule includes ten night games beginning at 7:05 p.m., five weekend afternoon games with tip-off at 2:05 p.m. and three holiday games - New Year's Eve, Sunday, December 31 at 4:05 p.m. vs. Quebec City; Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 15 at 4:05 p.m. against Pittsburgh; and President's Day, Monday, February 19 at 4:05 p.m. vs. Toledo.
Rochester will be joined in the ABA's White Conference - North Division this season by Buffalo, Pittsburgh Xplosion, Toledo Ice and Detroit Panthers. The RazorSharks will play each team in their division on the road three times, with Buffalo returning to Rochester for three games and the other teams twice.
The RazorSharks will play a home-and-home series with Brooklyn, the Strong Island Sound, Quebec Jumping Frogs, Cape Cod Frenzy and Newark Express. The Montreal Matrix and Maryland Nighthawks visit Rochester once and the expansion Vermont Frostheaves, owned by Brighton native and Sports Illustrated writer Alexander Wolff, visit the RazorSharks twice at The Blue Cross Arena.
