
RazorSharks promote hit movie at Saturday's game

(Rochester, N.Y.) - The Rochester RazorSharks of the American Basketball Association will star on television and help promote a hit basketball movie this weekend as they host the Baltimore Pearls at 2:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena on Saturday, January 14.
The first-place RazorSharks (13-3) will giveaway promotional seat cushions from the movie "Glory Road" to the first 250 fans at the game on Saturday afternoon. "Glory Road" is a recently released docu-drama based on Texas Western University coach Don Haskins leading the first all-black starting line-up for a college basketball team to the NCAA national championship in 1966.
The RazorSharks will also hand out free passes to the movie "Sharks in 3-D" at the IMAX Theatre in Gates, New York.
Saturday afternoon's game against Baltimore will be re-broadcast on UPN 18 television this Sunday, January 15 at 8:00 p.m. Gene Battaglia and former Syracuse University great Roosevelt Bouie will handle the play-by-play. Apart from RazorSharks basketball, UPN 18 broadcasts various other local sports including, Section V high school football and basketball, RIT hockey, Rochester Red Wings and the Rochester Americans.
