RazorSharks prepare for playoffs with three games left

(Rochester, New York)...The defending American Basketball Association champion Rochester RazorSharks, coming off a 131-102 win over Maryland last Thursday, upped their record to 20-6 and are entering the stretch run for the playoffs with two weeks left in the regular season. The RazorSharks are currently on a five-game winning streak and have won eight of their last nine starts. Rochester has three games remaining on their regular season schedule, including their last regular season road game of the year this Sunday, March 4 against the Cape Cod Frenzy.

Rochester will host the #1 ranked Vermont Frost Heaves on Tuesday, March 6 at 7:05 p.m., and wrap up the regular season on Thursday, March 8 at The Blue Cross Arena against the Strong Island Sound at 7:05 p.m. The Rochester at Newark game, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 3, has been postponed.

RAZORSHARKS LEAD ABA IN ATTENDANCE

Rochester leads the ABA - and possibly all of minor league basketball - in attendance by averaging 4,179 fans per game at The Blue Cross Arena after 16 home games. The last three home games the RazorSharks have averaged close to 6,000 fans per game. In their inaugural season, the Rochester averaged 3,135 fans per game.

33 STRAIGHT WINS ON HOME COURT AND COUNTING

The RazorSharks have won 33 straight games on home court at The Blue Cross Arena, setting the Rochester professional basketball record - and a local all-time pro sports record - for consecutive home wins. Rochester is 36-2 all-time on home court (16-0 this season) and have a 50-10 (.833%) all-time overall record in the ABA. The RazorSharks last lost at home on Thursday, November 24, 2005 - Thanksgiving Night - to the Niagara DareDevils 116-111 - which was over 460 days ago.
