Buzz to host 2007 ABA Summer Pro League

Maywood, CA. The Maywood Buzz would like to announce that they will be hosting the 2007 ABA Summer Pro League. "This is huge for us to be hosting such an event. The City of Maywood has been great in hosting our team this season and we felt that this would be something that we could give back to the city," stated Buzz Head Coach and General Manager Burrel Lee III.

"We will invite all current and incoming ABA teams, their owners, general managers and coaches to come out and scout players for the upcoming 2007-2008 ABA season. This will be a chance to see players under ABA rules during the summer," added Lee. "We are working with local businesses as sponsors, setting up discount hotel rooms for players coming from out of town."

Tryout Dates: July 1st-3rd, 2007

League Dates: July 5th-15th, 2007

Cost Per Player: $250

(Every player will make a roster in the ABA Summer League)

Cost per Team: $1500.

League Site: Maywood Activity Center (The M.A.C)

Each player will get computerized stats after each game and the stats will be posted on the ABA Summer Pro League website and emailed to every ABA team. Every game will be videotape, 3 certified ABA referees per game, every player will be evaluated and each player evaluation will be posted on the website along with the players' bios.
