RazorSharks Add Center, Release Three Players

(Rochester, New York)...The Rochester RazorSharks today announced that 6'9" center Mike Mackell (pronounced mack-KELL) has been added to the training camp roster and reported to practice today at the Metrocenter downtown YMCA. The San Diego State graduate has played four years of professional basketball and was a member of the 2006 regular season champion Oklahoma Storm of the USBL, where he averaged 15.2 points per game and 5.6 rebounds.

The RazorSharks released three players today, including local product James Brown (Monroe Community College), along with forward Michael Moncrief and guard Darryl Jones. Moncrief played in three regular season games for the RazorSharks late last year, averaging four points per contest. He also played in three playoff games as the RazorSharks captured the ABA title last spring.

Individual game tickets are now on sale at The Blue Cross Arena Box office, including Rochester's regular season home opener on Thursday, November 16 as the RazorSharks raise the 2005-2006 ABA championship at The Blue Cross Arena against the Buffalo Silverbacks at 7:05 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased via phone by calling (585) 232-1900 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
