Rayz season ticket holders rewarded

Eight Corpus Christi Rayz season ticket holders were named the First Period winners of the Rayz Rewards Season Ticket Holder Program on Tuesday. Open only to Rayz season ticket holders, the incentive program consists of a series of drawings for a bevy of unique Rayz and Corpus Christi related prizes. The deadline for the First Period was August 1st, and eight winners were picked in a drawing at the close of business Monday.

The winners of the First Period drawing are Jeff Rapach, Lisa Stringer, Tony Lamantia, Pat Nolan, Sara Quiroz, Tammy Smith, Wendell Thomas and Jerrell McGregor.

The winners were selected in the above order and will now have the opportunity to pick a remaining prize of their choice from the complete first period list.

Each Rayz season ticket holder receives one entry into the free raffle for each season ticket purchased in their account. There will be two more periods of Rayz Rewards (September 1st and October 1st) before Grand Prize and Runner-Up drawings are held at the Season Ticket Holder pre-season party in early October. Fans can secure their entry into the Rayz Rewards program with a $50 deposit on 2005-2006 Rayz season tickets.

The Corpus Christi Rayz will begin their eighth consecutive season in the Coastal Bend on Friday, October 21st in Austin. The Rayz home opener will be Saturday, October 22nd at 7:35pm vs. division rivals, the Austin Ice Bats. Last season Corpus Christi broke a franchise attendance record, welcoming more than 123,000 fans in their first season at the American Bank Center.
