LAREDO, Texas - The 2005 Southern Conference Champion Laredo Bucks announced today that they will sign a player live on KLDO-TV Univision on Wednesday night on the 5 p.m. news. The announcement will take place at the Laredo National Bank headquarters, located downtown in the Plaza building. All media are invited to attend. Laredo Bucks season ticket holders enjoy many exclusive offers that are available only to season ticket holders. This will be the eighth player signed by the Bucks. The press conference is also open to fans.
"Laredo National Bank and Univision are important teammates with the Bucks," Bucks President John Beckelhymer said. "To be able to share this announcement with some of our partners is a big event for us."
Training camp for the Bucks will open the second week of October. The regular season is set to start on October 21st.

- Bucks Director of Broadcasting Joe Dominey will do the sports all week for KVTV. Dominey will fill in for Colin McElroy who is on vacation. The sports will be part of the KVTV Channel-13 Nightcast.
