Rayz GM lends helping hand

Corpus Christi, Texas – Corpus Christi Rayz General Manager, Larry Linde will be volunteering to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association in their Annual Telethon Executive Lockup at Landry’s Seafood House Wednesday morning from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Linde will serve as one of the celebrity judges as part of the nationwide event to benefit the MDA.

The MDA is widely known for their charitable causes, including the Annual Executive Lockup and the Jerry Lewis Telethon. As a judge in the lockup, Linde will oversee the contribution of thousands of dollars that will go to benefit children suffering from muscular dystrophy. The lockup funds will primarily go to send children with muscular dystrophy to a MDA Summer Camp located in Bruceville, TX, just north of Waco. Linde will serve as a judge for over 300 participants in the GilliganÂ’s Island themed Lockup.

“This is a great cause that myself and the Rayz are committed to assisting,” said Linde. “To be part of the effort put forth by the hard working people of the MDA and all the wonderful volunteers, is something I consider a privilege.”

The Corpus Christi Rayz will begin their seventh professional hockey season in Austin on October 22nd, and host the Laredo Bucks in the first ever event at the AmericanBank Center on November 5th and 7:05pm.
