The Princeton Rays pull off another win, 5-4, against the Pulaski Yankees at Hunnicutt Field on July 19. Pulaski scored first with one run in the 2nd, two runs in the 3rd, and one run in the 7th. Princeton scored four in the 2nd, and one in the 7th. Ethan Clark has the win for the Rays and Alberto Casanas with the save. Jhon Morban takes the loss for the Yankees.
Princeton is on top of the Appalachian League East at 14-9. The Yankees are right behind the Rays at 15-10 in the East.
In the top of the 2nd, Pulaski scored first with a run by Nathan Mikolas off of a single from Gosuke Katoh. The Rays had a strong start in the 2nd, scoring four runs. The first came from David Rodriguez as David Olmedo-Barrera hit a double. Olmedo-Barrera scored off of a double by Kewby Meyer. Peter Maris hit a home run to bring Meyer home. The Yankees scored two in the 3rd. Jesus Aparicio made it home off of a double by Austin Afenir. Carlos Vidal scored from a wild pitch by Spencer Moran. Both teams scored one run in the 7th. Pulaski's Vidal made it home off of a triple by Hoy Jun Park. Landon Cray, for the Rays, brought Zac Law home with a single.
