Rash & Fargnoli Elevated to New Roles

Wilmington, DE - The Wilmington Blue Rocks are proud to announce that front office members Stefani Rash and Joe Fargnoli have been promoted to the roles of Director of Group Sales and Director of Ticket Sales, respectively.

Rash spent the 2012 season as the group sales manager for the Blue Rocks. A 2007 graduate of Wilmington University, she has spent seven years with the Rocks in a variety of roles. The 28-year-old began with the Blue Rocks in 2006 as a merchandise assistant. She was named the office manager in 2007 before she became a group sales associate from 2008-2009. The Destin, FL native was a group sales executive prior to this past season.

"I am very excited about my new role as Director of Group Sales with the Wilmington Blue Rocks," said Rash. "I consider Frawley Stadium and our fans, the best in minor league baseball, my home. I am truly passionate about what I do and take pride in continuing to provide our fans with many more memorable experiences and great customer service for years to come."

Fargnoli, a 2007 graduate of Neumann University, spent the 2012 campaign as the Blue Rocks' group sales associate. The 26-year-old was a ticket office assistant for the Blue Rocks in 2008. Following that, he spent two years as the Director of Ticketing with the Inland Empire 66ers. In 2011, the Mantua, NJ native was an account manager for the Oakland Athletics.

"I am very excited about my new role as the Director of Ticket Sales for the Wilmington Blue Rocks," said Fargnoli. "I know I have some big shoes to fill and I'm looking forward to continuing the Blue Rocks tradition of creating a great experience for every fan that enters the ballpark in 2013. We have very dedicated and loyal fans. Some have been with us since our inception in 1993 and I am very much looking forward to working with them as we move closer to next season."

Both Rash and Fargnoli were part of a ticket staff that oversaw a successful 20th season of Blue Rocks baseball as Wilmington drew an average of 4,235 fans every night. The 7,258 fans who came to Opening Night back on April 13 set an all-time best for a home opener. The 7,444 who came to Frawley on July 13 for the first Cowboy Monkey Rodeo Night comprised the fifth-largest crowd in the history of the stadium.

The Blue Rocks' 2013 schedule is currently being finalized and will be announced in the near future.
