Raptors and Thunder Announce 2nd Annual Play Day

ROCKFORD - The Rockford Thunder and Rock River Raptors of Lowe Entertainment will host its second annual play day on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Swan Hills Golf Course (2600 Gustafson Road) in Belvidere, Ill.
The cost of the tournament is just $60 per person and includes golf, cart, lunch, two drink tickets on the course and prizes. Some of the door prizes include autographed team items, golf equipment and tickets to an upcoming White Sox game.
Registration and check-in for the play day begins at 12 p.m. with the shotgun start beginning at 1 p.m.
The tournament will be the second-such event for the organization and features a unique twist. Golfers have the option to sign up as single golfers, threesomes and foursomes. If a group chooses to have less than four registered golfers, a member of the Thunder or Raptors may be paired with their group.
