Allentown, Pa. Recently regular visitors to the web homepage of the Philadelphia Force, www.philadelphiaforce.com, have been greeted by the team's newest online feature. The Force have teamed up with AccuWeather.com to provide the four-day "Philly Force-Cast".

The "Philly Force-Cast" will be posted online just before the beginning of a new home series. This service will allow visitors to the site to receive an ECTB-Stadium-in-Allentown specific weather forecast for all four games in the series. Using AccuWeather's state of the art technology, the "Force-Cast" can help fans determine the proper way to dress for each ballgame as well as when it may be wise to bring along that umbrella.

"The weather plays a crucial role when it comes to outdoor sports", says Jim Candor, Senior Vice President of New Media at AccuWeather.com. "The custom Philly Force-Cast, by AccuWeather.com, provides useful information for fans checking game conditions as it creates new team sponsorship opportunities in stadium and online."

Also on the "Philly Force-Cast", AccuWeather meteorologists will highlight the key promotions events for each series such as NPF's Battle of the Bats.

"This is an exciting element that has been added to our website. I am very excited we have added AccuWeather as this is one of the many phases of upgrades we have done with our website in 2008", adds Erin Statmore, the assistant general manager for the Force.

The weather broadcast was recently available for the Chicago Bandits series which just completed at the stadium. It will also be available prior to the Washington Glory, who the Force are neck-to-neck with in the standings, series that runs from July 30 to August 2. And prior to the Akron Racers visiting for the final series of the regular season, the four-night forecast will be available as well. That series will be played August 13 to August 16 and looks to be important as teams in the NPF jockey for positioning, or even a spot, in the Kimberly, Wisconsin playoffs starting on August 22.
