
Raptors Add Three to Roster

Rockford, IL - The Rock River Raptors of United Indoor Football (UIF) have signed three new players to the team: cornerback Jonathan Johnson, wide receiver Antonio Overstreet and safety TJ Ruegsegger.
Johnson is a rookie out of Savannah State University. During the 2006 season, he gathered 31 total tackles, and even punted for the team at times, punting 14 times for 408 yards.
Overstreet played his college ball at Southern University, where he became one of the top receivers on the team. In the Jaguars' 2004 season, Overstreet led the team in touchdown receptions with seven. He also had 40 receptions for 510 total yards that year.
Ruegsegger was a member of the Milwaukee Bulldogs, a semi-professional North American Football League (NAFL) team. He was named MVP of the 10th Annual Mid States Football Tournament Championship game and also received an invite to play in the 2007 NAFL All-Star game in Las Vegas.
The Raptors' next home game is Saturday when the Ohio Valley Greyhounds come to town. The game is sponsored by Bud Light and kick-off is at 7:05 p.m.
