Rangers Send Seven Players to NHL Development Camps

Kitchener, Ont. - A total of seven Kitchener Rangers have been invited to NHL Development Camps after the conclusion of the 2022 NHL Draft.

Francesco Pinelli (Los Angeles) and Roman Schmidt (Tampa Bay), who were selected in the 2021 NHL Draft, will attend their club's camps. Additionally, after being acquired by the Rangers in a trade on Jan. 6, and then signing a three-year NHL entry-level contract on Mar. 9 with Nashville, Navrin Mutter will attend the Predators' Development Camp.

Meanwhile, Pavel Čajan (Columbus), Mitchell Martin (Detroit), Simon Motew (Washington) and Joseph Serpa (Chicago) are four Rangers that have earned free agent invites to camps after spending this past season in Kitchener.

Chicago: Joseph Serpa - July 11-15

Columbus: Pavel Čajan - July 11-13

Detroit: Mitchell Martin - July 10-14

Los Angeles: Francesco Pinelli - July 11-15

Nashville: Navrin Mutter - July 11-15

Tampa Bay: Roman Schmidt - July 11-14

Washington: Simon Motew - July 11-15

This is the first time all 32 NHL clubs are holding development camps since the Summer of 2019.

The Kitchener Rangers drop the puck on the 60th anniversary season beginning September 30th at The Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
