The Rangers are now only two points behind the fifth-place Flint Firebirds, who visit The Aud this Friday night for the final regular season home game in Kitchener. (Buy Tickets)
Kitchener outshot Erie 46-26, Francesco Pinelli earned his third hat-trick of the season, Reid Valade tallied a goal and an assist and Marco Costantini made 25 saves in the contest.
The Rangers finished the game 0-for-1 on the power-play and 1-for-2 on the penalty kill. A trio of Rangers swept the three-star honours. Filip Mešár with two assists was the third star, Reid Valade with a goal and an assist was the second star, and Francesco Pinelli was the game's first star with a hattrick.
Next Up: The Rangers final home game of the regular season is this Friday night against the Flint Firebirds. Friday is the Rangers' Fan Appreciation Night.
