Randy Waldrum and Houston Dash to Purchase Beer for the First 1,000 Fans at Friday's Game

HOUSTON (Tuesday, May 12, 2015) - Head coach Randy Waldrum and the Houston Dash have teamed up to purchase beers for the first 1,000 fans age 21 and older at Friday night's match against the Chicago Red Stars at BBVA Compass Stadium (kickoff: 7:30 p.m. CT).

The first 1,000 fans of age who show a valid ID upon entry will receive a wristband that can be redeemed for one 12 oz. domestic beer at any BBVA Compass Stadium concession stand (limit one per person).

"We want to get people in the door," Waldrum said. "We know that when people come our games, experience our stadium and see the high level of soccer being played, that they'll want to come back for more. I'm happy to bet a thousand beers on that."

Friday's match also features the Bud Light Houston Dash Beer Garden. Fans can purchase a Beer Garden ticket package, which includes a game ticket and two pre-game drinks, for only $16.
