Rampage Shock KiXX, End Skid with Blowout Win

The Rockford Rampage scored a season-high 34 points and rolled past the Philadelphia KiXX, 34-15, on Sunday in Major Indoor Soccer League action.

Former KiXX forward Leo Gibson tallied five goals goals and 11 points to lead the way for the Rampage (7-12) in his second match for Rockford. He had seven goals and 15 points over the weekend. Gibson had two goals Friday against the Baltimore Blast.

Matthew Stewart, who had been sitting at 299 career points for the past two weeks, finally eclipsed the 300-point plateau with a four-point effort. Stewart had a two-point goal and assisted two other tallies to give him 303 points for his MISL career.

With the win, the Rampage ended an eight-game losing streak.Rockford wraps up its 2009-2010 season at 5:05 p.m. Sunday, March 21, at La RaZa de Monterrey.
