
Rampage Announce Second Open Tryout in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS - The Grand Rapids Rampage of the Arena Football League will hold an open player tryout here on Dec. 16. Steve Thonn, Rampage head coach and director of football operations, will be on hand to conduct the tryout, along with Paul Reinke, Rampage special teams coach and fullbacks/linebackers coach, and Rod Miller, football operations manager and assistant coach.
The tryout, which will be held at the Minneapolis Sports Center - YWCA Midtown, will consist of combine-type testing (40-yard dash, pro agility shuttle, broad jump, etc.) as well as position specific and one-on-one drills. Registration will begin promptly at 11 a.m. (CST), and the tryout will take place from 12 - 3 p.m.
Registration fee for players is $60 cash, and is non-refundable. Players are responsible for their own transportation to and from the tryout, as well as lodging if they are traveling from outside of the local area. The Minneapolis Sports Center is an indoor facility, so players should bring sneakers or tennis shoes.
