
Rainmen Wash out Mill Rats

(HALIFAX, NS) The Halifax Rainmen defeated the Saint John Mill Rats on Saturday night by a score of 121-104 in front of 3,952 fans. The Rainmen now sit at a record of 15 wins and 5 losses.
The leading scorer for the Rainmen was Joey Haywood with 25 points, followed by Lawrence Wright with 24. Tyrone Levett had a double-double in the win with 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Rainmen shot 95 per cent from the foul line and 53 per cent from the floor.
Leading the Mill Rats was Issac Kuon with 21 points, followed by Courtland Bluford with 15. The Mill Rats shot an impressive 63 per cent from the three-point line. The box score statistics can be found below.
The Rainmen will return to the Metro Centre on Saturday, January 21 at 7:00 p.m, when they will take on the Quebec Kebs. Tickets for Saturday's game are available at Ticket Atlantic locations and at the Metro Centre Box Office.
