February 13, 2009 - Premier Basketball League (PBL)
Halifax Rainmen News Release
(Halifax, N.S.) Halifax Rainmen Owner Andre Levingston announced today the signing of 25 year old 6'8" small forward AJ Millien. Millien was released from his contract with the PBL's Augusta Groove, leaving way for him to sign for the remainder of the season with the Rainmen.
"We are very excited to have a player with his talent. He is the leading scorer in the PBL averaging more than 30 point per game. AJ is multi-dimensional, talented player, we are lucky to have him," said Levingston.
The 200 lbs New York native attended Idaho State University. He has played in France, Spain, and Turkey. Last year in the CBA he averaged 30 ppg. Millien will be on the roster for Sunday's game against Quebec.
