Saint John Riptide News Release
The elusive Sasquatch was effectively 'bagged and tied' in Manchester on Friday the 13th, as the division leading Millrats ran away from the outset, 137-85 over the Montreal Sasquatch.
Manchester sat out three starters, and allowed the remaining players plenty of playing time in the blowout victory.
Scott Hazelton led the Millrats with a season-high 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. Desmond Ferguson added 19, Tommy Mitchell 17, and five others Millrats were in double figures. Former University of Maine standout David Dubois scored 26 for Montreal.
With the win, Manchester improves to 9-3 and maintains a hold on first place in the Atlantic Division. The Millrats host the Vermont Frost Heaves at 2:30pm on Sunday in a heated division rivalry match up.
