
Rainiers Opening Night Tickets on Sale Friday

TACOMA, Wash. - Ticket sales for the Tacoma Rainiers 2016 Opening Night on Thursday, Apr. 7 will be available for purchase beginning this Friday, Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. PT, the club announced today.
Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Cheney Stadium Box Office, open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., over the phone at 1-800-745-3000, or by visiting www.tacomarainiers.com.
First pitch for Opening Night is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. against the Albuquerque Isotopes, and is the first contest in an eight-game season-opening homestand.
Opening Night at Cheney Stadium marks the beginning of the 56th season of Pacific Coast League baseball in Tacoma dating back to 1960, and the club's 22nd year as an affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.
Making its debut on opening night will be a brand-new kids play area tucked behind the grass berm down the right field line. Built in partnership with the Ben B. Cheney Foundation and Metro Parks Tacoma, the 9,670-square-foot area will include a regulation-sized Wiffle ball field and a state-of-the-art playground.
