
RailCats Championship Rings Highlight Opening Homestand Promotions

The Gary SouthShore RailCats defense of their 2013 American Association title begins with an eventful Opening Day at the U. S. Steel Yard on Thursday, May 22nd vs. last season's championship series opponent Wichita Wingnuts at 7:10 pm. Fans are encouraged to arrive early opening night as the first 1,500 adults (18 & over) will receive a RailCats' 2013 Replica Championship Ring courtesy of U. S. Steel. There will also be an on-field ring ceremony and raising of the championship flag beginning at 6:30 pm. Gates open at 6:00 pm.
The fun will continue well into the night on Thursday as fans will also be treated to a special Post-Game Fireworks Show presented by Fifth Third Bank. Friday, May 23rd will also feature a Post-Game Fireworks Show as will every Friday night during the 2014 season, courtesy of Fifth Third Bank. The first 3,000 fans on both Friday and Saturday, May 24th will receive a RailCats 2014 Digi-Peel Schedule courtesy of Great Lakes Orthopedics. Digi-Peel Schedules are removable and will stick to any surface. Saturday's game time is 6:10 pm.
The RailCats conclude their four-game series vs. Wichita with a special Family Sunday game at 2:10 pm. Family Sunday coupons feature 4 tickets, hot dogs, and drinks for just $36.00 and can be found on the "Fan Zone " page of the team website www.railcatsbaseball.com .
Central division rival Kansas City T-Bones invade the Steel Yard for a three-game series beginning on Monday, May 26th with a special 4:10 pm Memorial Day starting time. One dollar concession items highlight the Tuesday night game vs. the T-Bones at 7:10 pm and the homestand concludes with the RailCats annual School Day game at 11:10 am. Adults are welcome to attend!
