
RailCats Announce New Webcasting Agreement with Sportsjuice.com

Gary, Ind.-The Gary SouthShore RailCats Professional Baseball Club today announced an agreement with sports webcasting specialist Sportsjuice.com featuring gameday audio for all 98 RailCats 2007 home and road game games plus selected spring training programming.
The audio webcast of each RailCats game will be a simulcast of the RailCats play-by-play radio broadcast on WEFM 95.9 FM Radio. Live game webcasts will be available through the RailCats web site at www.railcatsbaseball.com and www.sportsjuice.com.
New for 2007, all games will also be archived and available for listening at any time following the completion of the live broadcast.
Also new for 2007, the RailCats will produce Spring Training updates several times each week starting May 3rd. These updates will include interviews with RailCats manager Greg Tagert and RailCats players and will be available at both websites listed above. One or more Spring Training games may also be available on WEFM and on the internet.
RailCats Director of Broadcasting Tom Nichols will return as the club's play-by-play voice. The 2007 season will be his third year with the RailCats and 20th year in professional baseball.
Sportsjuice.com is in its eighth year of providing webcasting services of minor league, collegiate, and high school games and other programming. They have brought tens of thousands of games to listeners since their inception.
The RailCats open Spring Training on May 3rd and begin the 2007 season on May 17th at U. S. Steel Yard against the Winnipeg Goldeyes. RailCats 2007 ticket packages and merchandise are available at U. S. Steel Yard or by calling (219) 882-2255.
