Raiders NHL Draft Deadline Friday

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders are half way through their longest road trip of the Western Hockey League season after games in Kamloops, Kelowna and Chilliwack posting a 1-1-1-0 record. They finish their tour of the BC Division, then stop in Red Deer on their way home this week after 6 straight games away from the Art Hauser Centre.

Meanwhile, the Raiders first ever NHL Draft Deadline is approaching Friday at 5 PM. Entries can be downloaded at www.raiderhockey.com for a chance to win cash prizes totaling $10,000. This is a major fundraiser for the community owned team.

Here is the Raiders itinerary on the road this week: Tuesday, October 12 Practice in Chilliwack Project Forward: Raider Community Relations director Carrie Georgeson along with members of the RCMP and Raiders Austin Bourhis, Brandon Herrod, Ryan Button, Andrew Herle, Jordan Rowley and Nathan Deck are touring as area of the City of

Vancouver that is well known for its drug abuse and crime - West Hastings Street. Their visit and observations will be documented and brought back to school children in Prince Albert as part of the SGI Take Care Out There presentations.
