Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide News Release


BROCKTON,MA- The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide defeated the Brockton Rox Sunday by a score of 14-5. The win marks the second victory on the season for the Raging Tide (2-1).

Christian Martin started the game for the Raging Tide (Lake Bluff, IL/Bowdoin College) pitching 4 scoreless innings and giving up just 2 hits while striking out 4 batters.

Aaron Wilson (Windsor, CT/Hartford University) came up big for the Tide going 2-3 with 3 RBI while Graham McIntire (Concord, NH/Marist) also finished with 2 hits and 3 RBI to lead the explosive Raging Tide offense.

The Raging Tide bats came alive Sunday afternoon at Campanelli stadium as the Tide finished the day with 13 hits in route to the victory.

The Tide will be back in action at home on Monday, June 10th at the Ballpark as they take on the visiting Martha's Vineyard Sharks at 7:00pm for Literacy Night featuring Tony and Bosco the Reading Dog.
