Raging Tide Walkoff against Navs, 3-2

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME- The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (17-21) walk off with a 3-2 victory against the North Shore Navigators (18-18) on Monday night at The Ballpark. Matt Pagano (Cranston, RI/Marist) hit a double to right center that scored Aaron Wilson (Windsor, CT/Hartford) in the ninth to seal the dramatic win.

OOB struck first in the second inning, as newcomer Billy Walker (Smithfield, RI/Hartford) had a single down the third base line that plated home Brian Doran (Ayr, ONT/Maine) from second.

The Navs would take the lead in the fourth however on a fielder's choice by Blaise Lezynski (Newtown, PA/Notre Dame) that scored Kyle Devin (Brookline, MA/Wheaton). John Hennesy (Andover, MA/Boston College) then came in to score to take a 2-1 Navs lead on a single by Eddie Reese (Canfield, OH/Wooster).

The home side would quickly respond in the bottom of the fifth on a fielder's choice by Phil Sciretta (Duxbury, MA/Virginia Tech) that brought home Tito Lluberes (Lawrence, MA/Saint Anselm) from third.

Wilson would advance to first in the bottom of the ninth inning on a hit by pitch to set up the eventual walk off win for the Raging Tide.

Tyler Pogmore (Lebanon, CT/Roger Williams) got the victory for the Tide, tossing a hitless ninth inning with two strikeouts.

The Raging Tide return to action on Wednesday as they host the first place Nashua Silver Knights at noontime.
