Raging Tide to Send Five to All Star Game Tomorrow

CHELMSFORD, MA - The Inaugural Futures Collegiate Baseball League All Star Game will put the Original 4 franchises (Martha's Vineyard, Torrington, Seacoast, and Nashua) and the new expansion teams (Pittsfield, Wachusett, North Shore, Old Orchard Beach, and Brockton). The game will be held at 7:00 P.M. in Nashua, NH at Holman Stadium.

Representing the Raging Tide for the New 5 and in the starting lineup will be Jason Vosler (West Nyack, NY/ Northeastern University) and Matt Verrier (Norway, ME/ University of Southern Maine). Boston Langley (Edmonton, ALB, CA),Henry Van Zant (Westport, CT/ Bowdoin College), and Adam Ogburn (West Panama City, FL/ Rollins College) will serve as reserves.

Prior to the game their will be the MLB Scout Day where the All Stars and selected players will showcase their skills to Major League scouts.

Each roster is currently comprised of 24 players: 2 catchers, 12 position players, and 10 pitchers. To select the 25th and final spot on each team we will be conducting a fan vote on our Facebook page.

The manager for the Original 4 team will be B.J. Neverett who is the manager of the Nashua Silver Knights. Managing for the New 5 team will be the Associate Head Coach and Director of Baseball Operations for the North Shore Navigators Jon Cahill.
