Rocky Mountain Rage News Release
Wichita - The Rocky Mountain Rage have signed rookie goaltender Hugh Boylan to back-up Scott Reid while fellow netminder Terry Dunbar serves a Central Hockey League-imposed suspension. Boylan will be in uniform tonight for the first time when the Rage face-off against the Wichita Thunder at the Kansas Coliseum.
Boylan is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where he played club hockey for five seasons. He works for the team's parent company, Broomfield Sports and Entertainment, as an account executive, selling tickets for both the Rage and the NBA Development League's Colorado 14ers.
In a separate transaction, left winger Colt King has been placed on 30-day Injured Reserve retroactive to Nov. 21, when he was injured during a 5-3 win over the Colorado Eagles.
Fans can catch tonight's play-by-play action when the puck drops at 6:05 p.m. MST via the Live Audio link at www.rockymountainrage.com or on tape delay beginning at approximately 9 p.m. MST on The New ESPN Radio 1600. The Kansas Coliseum is one of the few buildings in the league from which live video streaming is not available on The CHL Network.
The Rage then return home to Broomfield Event Center on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7 and 8, against the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs and Wichita Thunder, respectively. Both games begin at 7:05 p.m.
Tickets for both games are on sale now with prices ranging from $18-$43 per seat (parking included). Fans can purchase tickets at Broomfield Event Center's box office or through Ticketmaster by logging-on to www.Ticketmaster.com, calling (303) 830-TIXS, or visiting any Ticketmaster retail outlet.
Season tickets, mini-packs, and group plans are also still available by calling 303-439-RAGE. For more information, visit www.rockymountainrage.com.
