Rage Coach's Show to premier next week on 1380 AM

St. Charles, MO - The RiverCity Rage Professional Indoor Football Team has announced they have reached an agreement with Team 1380 AM to air a weekly Rage Coach's Show that will make it's debut next Tuesday, February 26th at 6:00 pm. Salvatore's Italian Grill in St. Charles will be the site for the Rage Coach's Show every Tuesday night during the 2008 Rage season.
The show will be hosted by 1380's Howard Balzer, who also handles Rage play-by-play duties on News 20. Balzer is beginning his 32nd year covering professional football as a writer, editor and broadcaster. His connection with pro football began in 1977 with College and Pro Football Newsweekly, and since then he has been a featured columnist for The Sporting News, Pro Football Weekly, USA Today Sports Weekly and The Sports Xchange. In 1986, while with The Sporting News, he wrote the first published story on indoor football after a demonstration game in Rockford, Ill. Balzer did national broadcasts for Arena Football during the 1990s and has been a part of the broadcast team for several years for the RiverCity Rage.
Salvatore's Italian Grill, at 4141 Old Highway 94 South in St. Charles, has a casual, full service dining room that serves everything from pizza and pastas to burgers and fries. All of their food is made from scratch to get that family owned cooking taste. They also offer a full service bar with live entertainment from Wednesday through Sunday.
"We at Salvatore's are honored to have the RiverCity Rage and Team 1380 here every Tuesday evening to air their coach's show from our great restaurant," said Tom Yeager, Salvatore's Owner. "I have had the privilege to meet the people involved in putting this show together along with the Rage players and coaches and I am looking forward to working with them and making this show successful. We hope to see all of the Rage fans every Tuesday night at Salvatore's this season."
The Rage will take the field for the first time in 2008 with a preseason game against the Missouri Wildcats on Sunday, March 2nd at 3:00. As all Rage home games, the contest will be at the Family Arena in St. Charles. The Rage open their regular season Sunday, March 9th as they host the Colorado Ice at 3:00.
