Rocky Mountain Rage News Release
Broomfield, Colo. - The Rocky Mountain Rage begin a four-game home stand on Friday and Saturday at Broomfield Event Center against the Texas Brahmas and Amarillo Gorillas, respectively, at 7:05 p.m. each night. The team currently sits atop the Central Hockey League's Northwest Division with a record of 5-1-1 and 11 points.
Tickets for both games range in price from $18-$43 per seat (parking included) and may be purchased through Ticketmaster. Fans can log-on to www.Ticketmaster.com, call (303) 830-TIXS, or visit any Ticketmaster retail outlet.
Tomorrow's tilt against the Brahmas features free Rage water bottles for the first 2,500 fans courtesy of TownePlace Suites by Marriott. The Rage are coming off their first regulation loss of the season last Saturday to the New Mexico Scorpions and are ready to try to return to the win column against the Brahmas.
Rocky Mountain then takes on the Gorillas on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. having beaten them in a shootout, 4-3, earlier this season on Oct. 20. After Saturday's game against Amarillo, the Rage will be appearing at the Old Chicago restaurant on 120th Ave. and Sheridan Blvd. There, fans can meet all of the players and take advantage of Old Chicago's drink specials featuring $2.50 pints.
The Rage started this season off strong compared to last season, when they did not reach their fifth win until Nov. 28. Despite their loss Saturday, the Rage still lead the Northwest Division by three points over both the Colorado Eagles and Oklahoma City Blazers which are tied for second place.
The play-by-play action from both games will be broadcast on The New ESPN Radio 1600 with tomorrow's tape-delayed coverage beginning at approximately 11 p.m. and Saturday's live broadcast beginning at 6:55 p.m. with the pre-game show.
